First announcement: Next Aecon will be within 1hour from Frankfurt.
Everyone was like: Yaaaay! That’s easy to reach, Hotel prices are either cheap or I know someone where I can stay!
Now, several months later, with probably most tickets sold they finally decided to announce the location.
It’s in some small town in the middle of nowhere. MOre than 2hours by car from Frankfurt, 40minutes from Kassel, which is the closest bigger town and I’m once again like:
Last time… I swear… and all this ONLY for Misha!
And then Rogue Events….. dann können sie mich mal KREUZWEISE!
I seriously never experienced so much… I don’t even know how to express it in english. But they really seem to think, that the ticket holders shit money and don’t have to care about such minor things like hotel or driving costs. After all they could also afford the tickets to the con and will spend the rest of their fortune on unpersonalized autographs and badly organized photo ops.
But yeah why should they care. Most tickets are sold anyway and not refundable. That’s the way to treat your customers!
To me RogueEvents comes across like ‘We don’t really want you at our events or even enjoy them. We just want your money!’
And you know what’s pissing me off even more? All those people who’re like ‘Yay I’m going to a SPN-Con! Oh well… their organisation is a catastrophe, the location might be far away and I’ll have to pay more, but who cares. LOL here take all my money RogueEvents!TROLOLOLO’
I can’t help but thinking that RE doesn’t deserve to host events with all those awesome actors! They just fuck everything up. Starting with their crappy payment system, continuing with their inability to answer to emails… developing into the inability to find an acceptable location for the event and probably ending again with lack of any organisation during the event itself.
Though I probably shouldn’t get my hopes up too much. It’s still five months until Aecon… plenty of time to fuck up everything even more.
I need my “THIS.” .gif. WHERE IS MY “THIS.” .GIF?!

Eh, that one will have to do. It’s not the same, though ;-;
I’m going to Asylum 8, not Aecon, but RE’s PR and general attitude has done nothing but astound me since I bought my ticket.
